Release date: March 2007 (UK)
A lad with the rather unfortunate last name of Gary Hustwit directed this homage to all things font-related. As someone who knew next-to-nothing about where all the fonts we see in Word or Wordperfect software come from, this was an eye-opening experience ... and one well-worth the price of admission. The documentary traces the history of Helvetica font and its ubiquitous existence everywhere. Seeing this film, if nothing else, you'll wander the streets and read all advertising, with a new eye. Well produced, directed and edited. Worth the price of admission.
My rating: 8 out of 10.
